Lewis Hamilton, struggling at Ferrari, expressed deep frustration after qualifying 12th in Hungary, even suggesting the team consider replacing him.
Earlier in Hungary, Charles Leclerc stunned many by claiming pole position over McLaren’s duo, but faded to fourth in the race.

Conclusion :

The 2025 Formula 1 season so far has been dominated by McLaren–Mercedes, with their drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri leading the championship standings closely. After the Belgian Grand Prix, Piastri took a solid lead, but Norris fought back strongly in Hungary, reducing the gap to just 9 points. Meanwhile, Max Verstappen and George Russell have fallen behind, unable to keep pace with McLaren’s surge.

In the Constructors’ Championship, McLaren has built a commanding lead, far ahead of Ferrari and Mercedes. Ferrari’s struggles, highlighted by Lewis Hamilton’s frustration and Charles Leclerc’s inconsistent race performances despite strong qualifying, have kept them from mounting a serious challenge.

Overall, McLaren’s consistency, speed, and team strength have put them in a strong position to claim both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ titles in 2025, while other top teams must regroup quickly if they hope to challenge the McLaren dominance in the remaining races of the season.
